A Day of Contrasts: Lively Asakusa and Serene Yanaka-Nezu in Early March

Asakusa

On a warm day in early March, Asakusa was buzzing with energy and excitement.

In contrast, the afternoon in Yanaka and Nezu felt wonderfully calm and slow-paced. To top off the day, I even spotted some turtles peacefully basking in the sun—a perfect sign of spring.

In Japan, we say that if you are a good person, you will have beautiful weather on important days.
I believe your kind hearts brought us this wonderful sunshine today. We held two tours, one at Asakusa in the morning and the other in Yanaka & Nezu in the afternoon on March 5th.

Now let me introduce our guests who brought us the sunshine. We welcomed 20 guests from Canada, the US, Germany, the Philippines, Italy and Turkey. Thank you for choosing us and giving us fun time. I believe all our guests enjoyed our tour.

We’ve posted group photos and snapshots so that you can look back on the fun times we had.

Moving on to Yanaka and Nezu in the afternoon, I found a much quieter, more nostalgic atmosphere.

Modern and busy Tokyo is great, but why don’t you find this kind of relaxing Tokyo, too?

Even the turtles were enjoying the first signs of spring.
