East Gardens of the Imperial Palace

Thank you for choosing our tour at the East Garden of the Imperial Palace on October 16, 2024. We welcomed 10 guests from Canada, Singapore, Netherlands, and U.S.A. It was a little bit hot to have a tour and humid, but much better than that of last time.

I hope all of you enjoyed and shared interesting conversations with us during the tour. As promised, group photos and snapshots are attached to remember the fun times we had.

A Group

In Autumn, Japan has a lot of Chakai(Tea ceremony)all over the Japan. Many schools of the tea ceremony hold their own tea ceremony at tea houses in the park, museum, temple, and shrine, etc. Most of them are advanced registration required and limited to students and invited guests. Many participants wear the kimono. However, there are some tea ceremonies that anyone can participate in.

It’s OK you don’t wear the kimono. If you are going to stay in Japan, why not participate in? Especially, Tokyo-grand-tea-ceremony at Hama-Rikyu gardens is hold near central Tokyo and have an English program. Please visit its website below and go. You can experience Japanese beautiful culture.

TOKYO GRAND TEA CEREMONY

Of course, if you go to Kyoto or Kanazawa, you will have plenty of opportunities to taste matcha.
