Origami-Japanese art of holding paper

Shuriken is a traditional Japanese concealed weapon that was used for throwing at the enemy. It was often a sharpened hand-held blade used by  Ninja. We make origami-shuriken and present to our guests. Some kids of guest began to play with shuriken as soon as we gave.  In Japan, kids in a kindergarten and a nursery school learn how to make Origami that is traditional Japanese art of folding paper to make models of planes, animal, daily use tools and amongst others. It’s difficult for kids to make a crease and make a sharp crease. It’s said that kids acquire a imagination, a concentration, thinking ability, communication skills by making origami.

My granddaughter who is 5 years old taught me how to make Origami-shuriken. I could have fun. Please try to make with origami watching You Tube, you too.

Once again, thank you so much for joining us on our tour. We always make efforts to improve our tours and highly appreciate your feedback on our TripAdvisor/Facebook etc. Your comments motivate us to continue our volunteer activities. Please tell your family and friends about how you enjoyed our tour. Next time you’re in Tokyo, please join another one of our tours that are Asakusa, Meiji Shrine/Harajuku and Ueno Park. We’d love to see you.
