Meiji Shrine and Harajuku

The Report of Meiji Shrine & Harajuku on February 20 (Thursday), 2025

Meiji Shrine and Harajuku

Many thanks to those who participated in Tokyo Free Walking Tour at Meiji Shrine and Harajuku on such a crispy sunny early-Spring day.  We welcomed 11 guests from Germany and France. One guest was a French and English tour guide in Japan, so she taught us about the Burgundy region in France at the wine-barrel display section.  It was a tremendous opportunity for us to meet wonderful guests all over the world and to share interests and views with each other.

Tokyo Free Walking Tour is a small group tour with two or three guides, so please feel free to join us and enjoy more and more friendly conversations with local guides.

As promised, group photos and snapshots are attached so that you can remember the fun we had during the tour.

There are many other things to see in the Meiji-Jingu shrine. One of them is Kiyomasa’s well in the inner garden (not included in our tour course). This spring well is famous as a power spot, and it’s said that it has never dried up!

For more information, please visit the homepage of the Meiji-Jingu to explore this invaluable eternal forest in the middle of Tokyo.
