Many thanks for joining Tokyo Free Walking Tour. We welcomed a lovely guest from Italy. It was a typical winter clear day in Tokyo, a bit chilly for us, but pigeons didn’t mind and enjoyed bathing at a hand pump in Senso-ji precinct. What a peaceful scene it was!!

As it was a private tour, we were happy to arrange the tour for her interests. On the way, we gave several quizzes associated with the explanation spots, most of which she answered correctly and made us surprised! In return, she asked us many questions about Japanese history and culture. We hope that our conversations deepened her understanding of Japan.

We also introduced some shops for her souvenir options at and around Nakamise shopping street. Here are some of them that kindly let me take photos. How about picking up a hand cream in a small can with 365 different designs or a traditional cotton towel with either old patterns or casual motifs? You could even choose Sashimi knife. I hope this information would help you for your shopping in Asakusa.
