A Maze of Spring Hues and Aromas After the Rain: The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, March 4th

East Gardens of the Imperial Palace

Despite the chilly drizzle the night before, we were blessed with gentle rays of spring sunshine. Today we welcomed eight guests from Australia, Germany, the UK and the USA, and enjoyed our walk in three small groups. What makes our tours really special every time is that as we stroll together, we share a variety of stories and perspectives from different corners of the world. These exchanges give us great joy of doing our volunteer activities.

Tokyo is now ready to welcome the annual surge of visitors seeking the rhapsody of cherry blossoms. The peak season is yet a few weeks ahead, but this moment is a time to appreciate, in a calmer atmosphere, the early-blooming varieties opening their vibrant pink petals.

Thank very you much again for joining us today. We’d also appreciate it if you could share your valuable thoughts on TripAdvisor or our social media.

For our future guests, we hope you will enjoy visiting this metropolis where modern cityscapes and natural beauty are gracefully intertwined.

To find our tour calendar, visit our web site at https://tfwt.jp. You will also find our tours in four more locations: Meiji Shrine and Harajuku, Asakusa, Ueno Park, and Yanka & Nezu.

Below are the awaited photos for your memory. Scroll down to the end and enjoy finding your smiling faces!
