Many thanks to the participants in the 2 tours of that day.
On that day, we hosted 17 guests from Italy, France, USA, Israel, UK and Singapore in the morning and 23 guests from Australia, US, Israel, Germany, Spain, Belgium and Vietnam in the afternoon.
The weather was fine and moderately warm like typical early autumn climate in Tokyo. We hope all of you enjoyed and shared interesting conversations with us during the tour. As promised, group photos and snapshots are attached to remember the fun time we shared on the day.
Some guests enjoyed our providing instant kimono so that they could truly feel Japanese culture.
Speaking of Japanese culture, there is a tea house in the East Garden, where people enjoy traditional tea ceremony following set manner. (Photo below: Guests lined up in front of the tea house and chrysanthemums)
One of the guides recently met two foreigners living in Japan who are big on tea ceremony culture. One is a Canadian man, Randy-sensei who manages a cafe in Kyoto and teaches tea ceremony there with high rank credential authorised by Japan’s prominent tea ceremony schooler, Urasenke.
The other is a British man named Mr. Oliver Lee, who manages a cafe and sells tea ceremony utensils he manufactures on a remote island called Sakushima in Aichi prefecture.
Japanese culture is what anyone in the world could easily enjoy and enrich his or her life. The abovementioned tea ceremony teacher and utensil craftsman and guests we meet every time prove that.
So we thrive to continue this activity to deliver essence of Japanese culture to the world.
Why not join us to learn more about Japanese culture!!
