Thank you very much for participating in the Asakusa Morning/Afternoon Tour and Ueno Park Tour held on July 14th!!
We welcomed the total number of 22 Guests for Asakusa and Ueno Park tours from Slovakia, Italy, Russia, Germany, Canada, and USA.
As rainy season called Tsuyu is continuing on the day in Japan, rain fall is unpredictable. It rained a little in the morning but in the afternoon, it stopped and got some sun shine occasionally. We hope you enjoyed our tour despite the weather.
We posted group photos and snapshots of Asakusa Tours followed by Ueno Park Tour below. We hope you will be able to remember our tours with these photos!!

According to the weather forecast, Tsuyu will over soon. We always hear the question at that timing, “was the rain enough for this year?” Rain is essential not for drinking water but for rice cultivation from ancient times. Because rice cultivation is said 1000 liters of water are needed to produce 200g of rice!!
Then, how did ancestors live without worrying about water? The dragon is one of the key of the question.
Don’t you think Dragons is breathing fire and have wings? That’s not right in Japan. Dragons have been believed to have the power to control water. You have a chance to see dragons here and there at Sensoji Temple, because they are guardians of Sensoji-Temple.
By the way, do you know dragons are also can be seen in Ueno Park? The pair of sculptures on both sides of the Front Gate of Toshogu Shrine, ascending dragon and descending dragon, are carved. It was said that they have souls and slipped out from there at night to bathe in the near by Shinobazu Pond!!
As you know this year 2024 is the year of Dragon. We believe that our Asakusa and Ueno tour watched over by the dragons have always give you a good fortune.
