Many thanks for joining us on our tours at Asakusa on October 18th. We welcomed 16 guests from the USA, France, and Argentina. It was a tremendous opportunity for us to meet wonderful guests from many countries and to share interesting conversations. Today, we were quite lucky to see a Dragon Dance at Asakusa Shrine. This dance is closely related to the legend of the Golden Dragon of Sensō-ji Temple. According to the legend, when Sensō-ji was founded in the 7th century, a golden dragon descended from the sky to protect the temple.Since then, the dragon has been regarded as a sacred creature that brings good fortune, rain, and prosperity. The event is held only twice a year, so our guests were very fortunate to see it today.
