Cherry Blossoms Are Here: Tour Report of Asakusa on February 28, 2026

Asakusa

Thank you for joining our tour at Asakusa on February 28. We welcomed 4 guests from USA, and Poland.
I hope all of you enjoyed and shared interesting conversations with us during the tour.
As promised, group photos and snapshots are attached to remember the fun times we had.

The Cherry Blossom Season Begins in Asakusa
Early blooming cherry blossoms have started to open, quietly announcing the arrival of spring.
Soft pink petals, clear blue skies, and the calm atmosphere of Asakusa come together to create a beautiful beginning.

More Cherry Blossoms to Come
Soon, well-known varieties such as Somei Yoshino and weeping cherry trees will follow. Somei Yoshino, the most popular cherry blossom in Japan, is said to reach full bloom about 7 to 10 days after it first opens. This short but magical period is what makes cherry blossom season so special.

Plan Your Hanami with the Cherry Blossom forecast
Why not check the cherry blossom front, the cherry blossom forecast that shows blooming dates across Japan? By following it, we can plan the perfect time for hanami, a traditional cherry blossom viewing picnic or a quiet walk. Good timing makes all the difference.

The Beauty of Asakusa in Spring
The cherry blossoms around the Sensoji temple are especially stunning. The contrast between delicate pink flowers and traditional temple creates a special atmosphere.
It is a place where history and nature meet, making spring in Asakusa truly unforgettable.
The cherry blossom season has just begun. The best days are still ahead.
Let’s walk with us in the beautiful cherry blossom season!
