Thank you to those who participated in Tokyo Free Walking Tour at Meiji Shrine and Harajuku on such a cold rainy day. We welcomed 8 guests from Canada, Germany, and Singapore. Some of them will visit Osaka, Kyoto, Hakone, Mt. Fuji and Hokkaido for skiing and Sapporo Snow Festival. The others were looking forward to teamLab Planets TOKYO, Shibuya Sky and Asakusa.
Tokyo Free Walking Tour is a small group tour with two or three guides, and drop-in participations are always welcome, so please feel free to join us and enjoy more and more friendly conversations with our local guides. Also, today’s guests were so enthusiastic and curious that they asked many questions about Japanese food, Japanese major industry, Lego-style architecture, Japanese wedding ceremony and so on. Let’s enjoy exploring Tokyo and Japan with us!
The group photos and snapshots are as follows:

Some guests told us the pronunciation of kanji characters, or Chinese characters, in Chinese. For instance, the name of the left sake barrels is pronounced “kin-kon” in Japanese. On the other hand, the same kanji characters are pronounced like “jin-hun” in Chinese. The meaning of kanji characters is the same, but its pronunciation is totally different. She also told the other pronunciations in other Chinese dialects. How interesting it is for each other to exchange each culture! Next time, please tell us your culture.
Once again, thank you very much for joining Tokyo Free Walking Tour during your precious time in Tokyo. Your comments or feedback are always important and helpful to us all. If you like, please consider posting a review on our Facebook, homepage, Instagram etc.
