Thank you so much for joining Tokyo Free Walking Tour in Asakusa on Nov 24th. We welcomed 22 guests in total from USA, Norway, Israel, Australia, Slovenia, Chlie and Brazil . The weather was perfect for walking tour. Rainy days have their own charm, but we are happy when we are blessed with clear skies like this today. Unique buildings were also shining.
We hope all of you enjoyed and shared interesting conversations with us during the tour. As promised, group photos and snapshots are attached to remember the fun times we had.

Today, two boys who like Ninjas joined us on the tour. Speaking of Ninjas, the event at Ueno Park this day was the Ninja Festival. There were various performances related to Ninjas. Why Ninja in Ueno Park?
It is said that it was named Ueno from the perspective of the surrounding lowlands (“Ue” is upper, “No” is Land in Japanese.) On the other hand, there is also a theory that this is because the residence of a daimyo, the feudal lord of Iga-Ueno, was located here. And Iga Ueno in Mie Prefecture today is known as the land of Ninjas. Japan has many hidden charms.
We will be conducting a trial tour where you can enjoy Nagasaki, Toyama, and Fukushima without leaving Tokyo. If you are interested, please refer to this announcement. “【NEWS】New Trial Tour to be held on Nov.25 and 30.”
