The morning after a thunderous night brought clear skies and a light breeze.20 guests from Austria, Belgium, Greece, the Netherlands, and the United States joined our Asakusa tour in 5 groups on May 3rd. Partly due to a holiday - Constitution Memorial Day - Asakusa was even more lively with huge crowds.However, some places were relatively quiet, such as the Asakusa Shrine, where portable shrines or Mikoshi, preparing for the "Sanja Matsuri - Sanja Festival" in two weeks, gave us a rare preview. ...

Asakusa and Ueno Park Tour on March 26

Today’s tours were featured by a constant rain fall in the morning and afternoon. We were not greeted by Tokyo Skytree being invisible in the thick clouds. Yet we were able to host several groups of avid visitors who were eager to know more about Asakusa and Ueno Park. We were glad that nobody got lost in the umbrella jungles.
