Thank you for having joined our free walking tour. This day, we welcomed 21 guests for the Asakusa AM and PM tours and 8 guests for the Ueno Park tour. It was occasionally rainy in the morning and drizzling in the afternoon, which accelerated the fall of cherry petals signaling the end of the season.
Despite this weather, you were surely the luckiest visitors, being able to visit Tokyo at the peak season of cherry blossoms. Cherry flowers stay only for a week or two. Because of such vulnerability, they symbolize the transitory world of human life, which has been the integral undercurrent of all aspects of Japanese art and culture from ancient times.
We are glad that we were able to have nice company with you all exchanging a variety of views and interests. We hope that this experience has added a novel inspiration for your trips ahead in Japan and brought about profounder understanding of the Japanese culture, history and spiritual world.
Thank you again for your cooperation and above all, your enthusiastic participation.
Here are the awaited photos for your memory. Enjoy finding your smiling faces!
