Thank you for choosing our tour at Asakusa on February 19. We welcomed 19 guests from the US, UK, Sweden, Germany, Brazil, Spain, Thailand and Canada. This time, four boys and a girl participated in the tour and enjoyed experiencing Japan culture such as fortune telling paper, purification fountain and many actively. I hope all of you enjoyed and shared interesting conversations with us during the tour. As promised, group photos and snapshots are attached to remember the fun times we had.

We guide the must-to-see spots in Asakusa, but there are small halls and historical sites in the west side of the main hall of Sensoji Temple. It is also nice to wander around there avoiding crowds. For example, in front of Awashima-do hall, there is a bronze rainwater trough that saved the Cannon statues of the mail hall, the hidden ones, from the WW2 damage by burying it 3 meters in the ground.
Next to it, there is a stone lantern for the charm of protecting children from smallpox or tantrum. It was believed that if a child creep through the lantern, he would not contract such diseases. Why not let your small kids try it?
