East Gardens of the Imperial Palace

Thank you so much joining our tour at the East Garden of the Imperial Palace on 15th June,2024! We welcomed 11 guests from USA ,UK ,Spain ,Singapore and Indonesia. I hope you all had a good time and enjoyed interesting conversation with each other during the tour. As promised, some photos are attached to remember the fun times we had.

The day of the tour was sunny and very hot. The rainy season in Japan usually lasts from early June to mid-July but it has not yet started even in mid-June this year.

Speaking of the rainy season, do you know the representative flower that has been favored in Japan for a long time? Japanese hydrangeas are truly enchanting flowers that captivate with their delicate beauty and vibrant colors. Known as AJISAI in Japanese, these blossoms bloom in various shades of blue, pink, and purple, bringing colors into the melancholy rainy season.

Visiting Japan during the hydrangea season is a truly magical experience. Many parks and gardens such as East gardens of the Imperial Palace, Ueno Park, and Meiji shrine are adorned with these stunning flowers, creating a picturesque and serene atmosphere. Strolling through these places surrounded by the gentle sway of hydrangeas, is a sensory delight that leaves a lasting impression.
