Thank you to those who participated in Tokyo Free Walking Tour at Meiji Shrine and Harajuku. On such a crispy sunny Autumn day, we welcomed 15 guests from the USA, Canada, Australia, Spain, Portugal, and Singapore. The guests are visiting Japan with families, colleagues or friends, and some already have visited many other attractive places such as Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Kanazawa, Wakayama, Takayama, and Matsumoto. Another group is going to visit Nikko after Tokyo. We are glad to know that they are having a good time all around the country. Also, we hope you all enjoyed and shared interesting and informative conversations with each other during the tour. Tokyo Free Walking Tour is a small group tour with multiple guides in Tokyo, so like today’s tour, guests could enjoy more and more friendly conversations with local guides. Please explore Tokyo and Japan with us!
Here are the group photos and snapshots:
Christmas gifts from the guests. Thanks a lot!
At Meiji Jingu, there are four ways of telling your wishes to the deity (Kami-sama) : offering box, letter box, wooden votive tablet (Ema), or Shinto ritual by shinto priests. She wrote a letter to the deity.
May her wishes come true!
We found a motorcycle at the car purification place for the first time.
By the way, aren’t you looking for vegan restaurants in Japan? Here are some convenient sites:
This site is “Tokyo Brochures” where you can search by category/tag and get an e-brochure of your favorites. For example, if you search by Dining, you can find “TOKYO Vegan & Vegetarian Restaurant Guide 2024-2025.” Each restaurant posts the QR codes of the access and website. It’s easy to eat out!
Or how about keeping the following OJI’S VEGAN MAP in your google map? Then, you can find several vegan restaurants from the map in a minute.
Your comments or feedback are always important and helpful to us all. If you enjoyed our tour, please consider posting a review on our Facebook, homepage, Instagram etc. Once again, thank you very much for joining Tokyo Free Walking Tour during your precious time in Tokyo. Please don’t forget to share your experiences with your families and friends when you go back home!
