Thank you very much for choosing our Around Japan in a Half Day Tour on June 14th.
We welcomed 6 guests from the USA, Singapore, and Romania, plus 3students from Kanda University of Foreign Studies.
We hope all of you enjoyed this tour, visiting three antenna shops of Nagasaki, Fukushima, and Toyama.
In Tokyo, there are so many antenna shops, that are operated by local government in order to promote local foods and attract visitors.
Here are tips for enjoying antenna shops.
1. Try Local Food and Snacks
Each shop has special products from the region. You can taste food that people eat there. In Toyama shop, there are so many masu (trout) Sushi box displayed in front. Masu sushi is very special local product in Toyama.

2. Find Unique Souvenirs
Look for crafts, goods, and items you can only get in that prefecture. It’s great for gifts. In Fukushima’s, you can find many cute Akabeko (red cow) toys.

3. Join Events or Tastings
Some shops have free samples or small events. It’s fun and a good way to learn about local culture. On that day, In Nagasaki’s, A lottery event was held where participants could win local products.
