Where is the rainy season? We had a hot day like in mid-summer already but were able to have joyful tours in Asakusa and Ueno Park. Many thanks for being well-prepared for the hot weather and joining us!! We welcomed 15guests from 2 countries, USA and Russia, including cheerful families joined on the spot. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to meet wonderful guests and to share interesting conversations.
One of the guests kindly shared her precious experience of participating a real festival and carrying Mikoshi, a portable shrine, a week ago in Shinagawa. Her story blew away the heat of the day and sparked a lively excitement to all of us. We hope every guest had great time with cultural experiences during the tour, too.
As promised, group photos and snapshots are attached so that you can remember the fun time we had during the tour.

When traveling in Japan in the summer, please be careful of heat stroke and dehydration. We try to find shade and take a rest during the tours.
The Asakusa Cultural Information Center supplies mist to cool down the air by the action of vaporization heat. Also, there is a stand that supplies cold water free of charge. It is cooled-down tap water in Tokyo and good option to refill your drink bottle.
Please take care of your physical condition and fully enjoy your trip to Japan.

Once again, thank you so much for joining us on our tour. We always make efforts to improve our tours and highly appreciate your feedback on our TripAdvisor/Facebook etc. Your comments motivate us to continue our volunteer activities. Please tell your family and friends about how you enjoyed our tour. Next time you’re in Tokyo, please join another one of our tours at East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, Meiji Shrine/Harajuku and Around Japan tour in Nihonbashi. We’d love to see you again.
