Early Summer Sunshine🌞as a Typhoon Approaches – Ueno & Asakusa Tours on July 13th, 2025

Asakusa

Although Tokyo is officially still in the rainy season, the bright sun calls for a host of essentials—from sunscreen and portable fans to cooling body sheets, sprays, and sun umbrellas.
In addition, during Tokyo’s unfamiliar hot and humid weather, older adults and children may need a wheelchair or stroller. You can rent one for a fee at the Asakusa Culture Tourist Center; the service is called Babycal. Our guide can assist you in obtaining one on the day of your tour.

On July 13, our morning and afternoon Asakusa and Ueno tours welcomed a total of 37 guests from Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Italy, and the United States.

Since Typhoon Nari—the fifth of the season—formed this morning and is heading north, I hope it won’t affect your travel plans.

Rain or shine, the Tokyo Free Walking Tour team will make your experience unforgettable.
