Thank you for joining the first tour of the autumn season of ”Around Japan Tour” on October 25.
“Around Japan in a Half Day Tour” is a program where you can experience the specialties and charms of various regions of Japan — all while staying in Tokyo.
This time, we welcomed a total of four participants from HongKong and Luxembourg.
We first visited a shop operated by Fukushima Prefecture. Fukushima is located in the Tohoku region of Japan, and it is especially famous for its juicy fruites.

Next, we visited a shop operated by Toyama Prefecture. Toyama, located in the Hokuriku region facing the Sea of Japan, is famous for its metal crafts. If you want to see traditional Japanese craftsmanship, Toyama is one of the best place.

Lastly, we visited Nagasaki Prefecture’s. Nagasaki is located in the southern part of Japan. Historically, it was one of the few regions open to the West, and as a result, it has developed a distinctive and fascinating blend of cultures. On that day, there happened to be a udon tasting event. Together with our guests, we enjoyed Nagasaki’s udon.

We chatted along the way as we explored the specialties of these regions, sharing stories and impressions while discovering their unique local charms. We hope that next time in Japan, please visit these local areas.

Once again, thank you so much for joining us on our tour. We always make efforts to improve our tours and highly appreciate your feedback on ourTripAdvisor/Facebook, etc. Your comments motivate us to continue our volunteer activities. Please tell your family and friends about how you enjoyed our tour!
