The tour was held on February 1st, which means it’s already been a month since the New Year. Time goes by so fast!
On February 1st, the Tsukinami-sai festival was held at Meiji Shrine. Tsukinami-sai is held twice a month, on the 1st and 15th, and is dedicated to praying for the prosperity of the Imperial Family, the peace and stability of the nation, and the well-being of its people. On the day, we might see Shinto priests walking around the shrine and may even hear gagaku, a traditional Japanese music.
In this way, many festivals and rituals are held at Meiji Jingu Shrine throughout the year.

We always strive to give high-quality tours. Your feedback is very important and useful to us.
