Asakusa

On a relatively quiet day—one day after the big fireworks—our Asakusa & Ueno tours welcomed nine guests from Australia, Canada, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

At Senso-ji, two large outdoor mist-and-wind machines gave us relief in temperatures nearing the mid-30s Celsius (mid-90s Fahrenheit).

One of today’s guides was an international student studying medicine in Japan, who brought along his university friends.
We guides were deeply inspired by his passion and perspective on Japanese culture.
International students and residents in Japan are very welcome on our tours, either as guests or as volunteers.

Tokyo Free Walking Tour appreciates all of our guests for joining us on such a hot day.
We hope you all have a memorable summer in Tokyo.
