Many thanks for joining Tokyo Free Walking Tour. We welcomed 3 guests from Australia and Philippine in Asakusa tour and also 3 guests from Hungary and Philippine in Ueno tour.
We had an extremely hot day but had wonderful time with very active guests. Some are going to climb Mt. Fuji and another to hike at Mitake valley during their stay. They inspired us with their energy and even gave thank you remark for our work in such a hot day. How passionate and kind they were!! It is always a big joy for us to have great time with guests from all over the world.
As promised, group photos and snapshots are attached so that you can remember the fun time we had during the tour.

When traveling in Japan in summer, please be careful about heat stroke and dehydration. We try to find shade and take a rest during the tours.
Probably the Asakusa Cultural Information Center is one of the good spots you can cool down and relax for a while. Not only the exterior of the building, but also the interior designs remind us of some Japanese culture. For example, the stripes on the railings of the stairs are said to represent the rain scenes as depicted in ukiyo-e. The wooden wall with a square pattern is said to be inspired by origami papers. If you visit there, please pay attention to the interior design of the rooms.

One more information. There is a stand that supplies cold water free of charge. It is the cool tap water in Tokyo and good option to refill your drink bottle. Please take care of your physical condition and fully enjoy your trip in Japan.
Once again, thank you so much for joining us on our tour. We always make efforts to improve our tours and highly appreciate your feedback on our TripAdvisor/Facebook etc. Your comments motivate us to continue our volunteer activities. Please tell your family and friends about how you enjoyed our tour. Next time you’re in Tokyo, please join another one of our tours at East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, Meiji Shrine/Harajuku and Around Japan tour in Nihonbashi. We’d love to see you again.
