When Tokyo Turned White☃️: Asakusa & Ueno Tour Report on February 8th, 2026

Asakusa
Five-story Pagoda

Despite the rare snowfall in Tokyo, six guests from China, France, and Romania joined the Tokyo Free Walking Tour — a wonderful surprise that instantly blew away our worries that no one might come.

Snow is only seen a few days each winter here, so it was a special chance for everyone to enjoy this memorable scene, even with the Tokyo Skytree disappearing into the white sky.

For many, the quiet, less‑crowded, snow‑covered Asakusa and Ueno offered a refreshing break — a brief escape from work and daily hassles.

Wishing each of you a safe and happy rest of your time in Japan.
